Morrison Water Services part of M Group Services Water Division are recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to take responsibility for managing various contracts in the South. Our strategic and valuable framework’s with Thames Water are set to grow over the coming years and you’ll be a part of shaping our future. Morrison Water Services forms part The Water Division which in turn forms part of the Group whose strategy is to be the leading infrastructure provider in the UK and Ireland, operating in 240 locations employing 10,000 people.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a proven track record of driving operational performance and who can deliver our desired business and client plans.

As the Senior Operations Manager you will manage the day to day operational management of the contracts whilst delivering against the agreed business plan for Thames Water, including planning teams, streetworks and SHEQ. You will also ensure CVR reporting Quality Management are operating effectively.

You will also be responsible for all stakeholder engagement across the business area and be a visbale leader demonstrating visible leadership to management teams and sub-contractors. You will have the opportunity to lead on multiple continuous improvement initiatives, such has the SHEQW strategy and employee engagement plan

As well as driving operational performance you will also have the autonomy to develop and tailor the management team to align to growth and performance, developing robust succession plans.

Ideally you will have experience of driving business growth and strong leadership skills. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt your approach to different teams. You will need to have experience of at operating at a senior level within the utilities sector ideally with a blend of Projects and ‘low value, high volume work’.
