About The Role

ID Systems UK Ltd are currently looking to recruit a Telemetry Project Engineer working across a wide portfolio of Projects based in Glasgow.

We are looking to add an experienced Project engineers to work within our specialised teams Applicants should have an HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with previous experience in a similar type of role, preferably in an engineering related environment.

As the Telemetry Project Engineer your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects primarily in the water & wastewater, power distribution and petrochemical industries
  • Responsible for project delivery and managing the team
  • Responsible for the finances of the project
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external reviews and progress meetings
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals
  • Continual professional development including professional registration is encouraged and actively supported
  • Review of contracts & specifications
  • Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications
  • Record and review all project information

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Experience in water industry would be advantageous
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages
  • Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
  • Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures
  • Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently
  • Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
  • Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Must be able to plan and prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent client service and a flexible approach to work
