About The Role

Morrison Water Services part of M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. As the Reinstatement Delivery Manager your Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for delivery of all activities to cost, time, quality and safety targets including customer performance
  • Responsible for P&L- Ensure that the Contract performs to actual cost & revenue v forecast cost using all commercial reports developed
  • Ensure that Weekly Plant Checks are undertaken & that all Updates are changed on the Plant List
  • Manage the productivity and utilization of Direct Labour & sub-contractors and their operatives in line with Client SLA’s & the work program
  • Ensure that where possible all sites are cleared in line with the noticing period & the TMA
  • Carrying out audits as per SOR’s or client requirements
  • Liaising with various bodies including the client, local authority, police and public
  • Carrying out regular site visits to Maximize effective delivery as determined by the short term program and safety compliance Delivering effective staff briefings and safety information including local training as agreed.
  • Ensure any remedial work action is carried out within acceptable time frames and appropriate action taken to ensure future prevention Liaise and agree with contractors construction methods, design solutions and specifications on non-standard works orders and to be signed off by SHEQ manager

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • IOSH safety certificate
  • A current valid driving License
  • Supervisors street work card
  • A good understanding of operational activities and trade skill
  • Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets
  • Good understanding, supported by experience, of how a water network operates
  • Proven ability to deliver improvements to productivity, safety and customer focus in a utility environment
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of change initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of NRSWA legislation, NRSWA Specification and Codes of Practice, and the Traffic Management Act and Codes of Practice.
  • CDM/Health and Safety knowledge within the utility space
