ID Systems are an established industry leader providing single sourced solutions within the field of MEICAT Engineering. Our areas of expertise include hazardous areas, PLC/SCADA, telemetry integration, electrical engineering design, installation, project management and preventive maintenance. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit Telemetry Engineers to join our rapidly growing teams in our Cumbernauld & Edinburgh offices.

As the Electrical Project Engineer your duties & responsibilities will include:
- Working within the Instrumentation team on projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution and petrochemical industries.
- Supporting Project Manager to complete design and project engineering functions
- Attend and contribute to internal and external design review and progress meetings
- Participate in design co-ordination with other engineering disciplines and professionals
- Produce design calculations
- Produce electrical design documentation
- Review of specifications and designs against industry standards and specifications
- Procurement of electrical equipment and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications
- Record and Review as-built information Record and Review as-built information
- Provide Project scoping of new and existing opportunities
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- Experience in water industry would be (Desirable)
- Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages
- Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
- A good Knowledge of NEC3 contracts
- Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures
- Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
