As the Senior Regional Transport Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to take accountability for implementing and managing Transport Operations for your area, whilst working closely with the wider Compliance team to drive continual improvement.

As the Senior Regional Transport Manager, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Ensure effective and continuous control is being maintained of M Group Services commercial vehicles & assets in your region
  • You’ll implement robust business unit communications, effective management & continues control of vehicles & drivers in line with undertakings
  • Take on Line Management responsibility for Regional Transport Managers, building & maintaining a good working relationship with all stakeholders
  • Provide support, advice & guidance on all aspects of Transport Operations, Occupational Road Risk & any Transport accreditations
  • Responsible for ensuring commercial drivers’ check vehicles & report any defects found and data is analysed for non-compliance or trends and identify training gaps
  • You’ll work with the Telematics Manager to ensure vehicle telematics are fitted, monitored & data is analysed for Infringements to improve road safety
  • Ensure monthly KPI report is produced for your area as per the agreed template, identifying areas of risk or non-compliance

What you’ll bring:

  • National CPC Holder, with experience of managing a large diverse fleet and experience in the management of other Transport Managers
  • Strong background in dealing with complex issues and requirements
  • Capability to take ownership and responsibility, demonstrated though actions/ behaviours
  • Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
  • Ability to prioritise workload, working to strict deadlines
  • You will need to be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other platforms
  • Category B Driving Licence
