The Business Services function is recruiting for a Performance Improvement Analyst to work on our Thames Water contract in South East England.

As the Performance Improvement Analyst you will be part of our Business Services team. This team is responsible for providing high quality, strategically important support services to all business units in M Group Services Water Division. You will leverage efficiency and expertise from a centrally managed approach.

The Performance Improvement Analyst will support our improvement agenda across the Water Division to deliver through continuous improvement and exceptional levels of customer service.  You will work closely with colleagues in Business Services, operations and commercial functions to support existing work and deliver initiatives.

As the Performance Improvement Analyst you will be responsible for working closely with the Business Intelligence team who will provide data and analysis. You will drive service improvements and reduce costs, improve safety and/or customer service. You will design practical and cost-effective solutions to address business challenges. You will need to carry out optioneering and produce business cases as required, secure senior management and key stakeholder approval as necessary. 

You will be responsible for developing close working relationships with local stakeholders. This is to make it easy for them to work successfully with the team to improve contract performance. You will be a visible and easily accessible point of contact to promote and evangelise process and system solutions and share them across the business. You will provide business support to assist in commercial and operational decision-making.
 
You will project manage system developments and process improvements – utilise experience and best-practice from the wider project management environment to provide appropriate leadership, planning, control, resource co-ordination and communication. You will map existing business processes and work with key contract personnel to identify opportunities for improvement. You will support the consistent use and drive the standardisation of systems and processes wherever relevant to maximise the benefits from economies of scale. You will oversee and project manage progress, testing, training, change control and the release of system developments.
 
You will need to provide regular updates to key project stakeholders to keep them apprised of progress and highlight any potential issues early. You will need to ensure that the quality of process and systems solutions is maintained at the highest level. You will evaluate potential solutions by assessing their cost/benefits and suitability for our businesses.
 
You will pro-actively consider all options to ensure the most suitable and efficient solutions are identified. Carry out system administration of licences relating to the core Work Management Systems, Mobile and Reporting Applications (new users, amendments and leavers). You will provide pro-active management of user licences to maximise efficient utilisation so that, for example, the business never has to pay for unused licences. You will need to work closely with local operational and commercial teams to establish and maintain the optimum licencing models.
 
You will ensure compliance with Information Security policies by managing access to data via users’ system access profiles. You will liaise with in-house and sub-contract IT providers as required, provide appropriate user support to business users. You will support IT Trainers in developing proof-of-concepts, use cases and the roll-out of future technologies and upgrades to Microsoft Applications. 
 
You will need to identify opportunities to share solutions across our businesses where appropriate and promote the consistent use of solutions. You will provide business support to assist in commercial and operational decision-making. You will actively support corporate efficiency improvements; share knowledge and experience with colleagues and evangelise the benefits of consistent use of processes and systems. 
 
You will liaise with clients and partners on tenders, bids and joint initiatives and represent the Division as required. You will support the provision of IT services from group and third-party suppliers to ensure that the Water Division users have the necessary equipment. 
 
Are you excellent at building relationships?
 
Do you have project management and process improvement experience?
 
Are you able to support and manage multiple initiatives and tasks with different deadlines?
 
Are you highly numerate and literate, with excellent written and oral communication skills?
 
Are you a self-motivated and highly professional team player with a flexible, yet structured approach, also able to work on own initiative?
 
Are you a self-starter with a logical approach to problem-solving?
 
Do you have good awareness of current technologies and IT methodologies?
 
Do you have a working knowledge of Salesforce FSL? This would be an advantage
 
Do you have experience in process improvement work?
 
Do you have good skills in MS Office applications, including MS Project and Visio?
 
Are you able to produce of high-quality documentation, which is precise and concise in content?
 
Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
 
Are you a personable and proactive communicator able to promote solutions across the business?
 
Do you have experience in Cloud-based and mobile technologies? This is desirable
 
Do you have a degree level qualification? This is desirable.
 
Do you have a Full UK driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.
