About The Role

Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Streetworks Coordinator to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract in Stepps, Scotland.

As the Trainee Streetworks Co-Ordinator you will be part of our Streetworks Team who are responsible for the management of all Streetworks Notices required to allow Caledonia Water Alliance to carry out any works on the public highway.

Caledonia Water Alliance is a partnership between Aecom and Morrison Utility Services to support the delivery of the Scottish Water Capital Investment programme are responsible for delivering £360 million of clean water infrastructure.  Our services consist of programme management, design and rehabilitation of the water network across the whole of Scotland).

As the Trainee Streetworks Co-Ordinator your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the Streetworks team in all aspects of scheduling works
  • Notice maintenance
  • Advance Notice through to Registration Notice using bespoke system (SRWR- Scottish Roadworks Register)
  • Review and understand jeopardy reporting to ensure compliance with NRSW

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Confident administrator
  • Current driving licence - not essential
  • Appropriate level of IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
  • Good level of written and oral communication and influencing skills.
  • To communicate at all levels both within and outside the business
  • Attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
