About The Role

Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract in Scotland.

As a Site Manager you will be part of our Operations Team who are responsible for managing clean water rehabilitation projects in Scotland.

Caledonia Water Alliance is a partnership between Aecom and Morrison Utility Services to support the delivery of the Scottish Water Capital Investment Programme. They are responsible for delivering £360 million of clean water infrastructure.  Our services consist of programme management, design and rehabilitation of the water network across the whole of Scotland).

As the Site Manager you will:

  • Report to the Senior Site Manager on a daily basis
  • Be responsible for the day to day management of projects, including DOM's/Symology Notices/P.U. Drawings/Method Statements/Risk Assessments
  • Attend project planning meetings
  • Attend project meetings with external parties including Roads Authorities
  • Manage all aspects of Health & Safety on sites
  • Be responsible for completing and/or authorising all site records/paperwork
  • Compile site costs, monitor values in conjunction with the Commercial Department
  • Be responsible for the planning and programming of construction projects
  • Ensure good forward planning of projects including street by street surveys for noticing and programming
  • Ordering materials through CWA Procurement for timely delivery
  • Ensure Early Warnings/Compensation Events are submitted in a timely manner, backed up with appropriate evidence
  • Be responsible for Customer Liaison Officers on site and ensuring all aspects of Customer Care are included in planning

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Management experience within a Utility environment (preferably Water)
  • Current Driving Licence
  • Appropriate level of IT skills
  • High level of written and oral communications and influencing skills (to communicate at all levels both within and out with the Business)
  • Ability to build relationships and deal with people from all backgrounds and situations
  • DOM's & Water Hygiene - essential
  • New Roads and Streetworks Qualification - essential
  • SHEA Water CSCS - preferred
  • IOSH – preferred

Additional Information
