About The Role

Morrison Utility Services are looking for qualified Gas Service Layers and Main/Service Laying Teams to join our expanding workforce installing and replacing gas mains and services.

Working with Wales and West Utilities, we are part of the team helping to upgrade 420 kilometres of the South West and Wales gas supply network every year.

This is a great opportunity to work directly for Morrison Utility Services with potential to develop your long term career in the utility industry with the leading utility services provider in the UK and Ireland. .

The successful candidate(s) will need to be experienced and qualified to Network Construction Operations Gas Level 2 (NCO L2) Service Laying. Ideally you will have recent experience of working on the gas distribution networks.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Level 2 Network Construction Operations (Gas) Service Layer
  • Full driving licence
  • Good customer and communication skills
  • Be physically fit
  • Good practical skills
  • The ability to follow written and spoken instructions
  • Good team-working skills
  • An understanding of on-site health and safety
  • Ideally you will hold a NRSWA Streetworks Operative qualification

  • Improved productivity bonus scheme, with an opportunity to earn 1.5x and 2x our standard rates for above average delivery.
