About The Role

Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit a Contract Administrator to work on our Smart Metering contract in Dartford.

As the Contract Administrator you will be responsible for the provision of administrative support and full personal assistance to the Smart Metering contract and its management team. You will ensure that all admin relating to the Smart Metering contract is accurately completed and stored in line with the General Data Protection Regulations.

NOTE: The responsibilities and the position to whom the job holder reports may vary from time to time. As a consequence, the job responsibilities will include but may not be limited to any or all of the following items as required. 

As the Contract Administrator your duties & responsibilities will be:

SHEQ Management

  • Promote and ensure that all staff display the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards and comply with all statutory, Thames Water and Morrison Utility Services standards, policies, procedures, guidance and initiatives.
  • Ensure key risks are identified and mitigated
  • All inspections for building (as required) to be documented and filed for audit purposes.
  • Promote the behavioural safety approach

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate work using Salesforce
  • Deal with ad hoc enquiries
  • Print and collate job packs
  • Assist in maintaining the paperwork for RMA processes, alongside accurate keeping of time sheets, overtime and staff records.
  • Ensure that all admin relating to the Smart Metering contract is accurately completed and stored in line with the General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Review relevant administrative processes and to contribute to their improvement.
  • Attend meetings as required and complete actions arising.
  • Stock control through regular audits of office supplies.
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills, responding to urgent issues that may arise and dealing with them promptly and safely.

 

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in office administration
  • Excellent IT skills particularly MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Ability to draft letters and reports to a high standard of English
  • Understanding of relevant points of GDPR
  • Must be able to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time and be able to cope under pressure
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision and to make administrative decisions based on a broad understanding of relevant policies or operational requirements
  • Proven excellent organisational skills
  • Highly reliable and punctual

Additional Information

·        Working hours will be an average of 45 hours per week – Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 5:30pm
