About The Role

Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader in Backfill, Reinstatement and Traffic Management to work on our Yorkshire Water contract in Bradford.

You will be responsible for the delivery of planning and scheduling activities in relation to backfill, reinstatement, TM and clearance.

As the Team Leader your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Manage backfill, reinstatement, TM and clearance administration activities
  • Encourage & maintain good working practices to minimise works duration & disruption to the network through prioritised planning of activities
  • Coordinate works activities in conjunction with Task Team Leaders
  • Prioritisation of works on type 1 & 2 roads including works utilising a road closure
  • Liaise with operational leads to increase productivity and effectiveness of available resource
  • Mitigate S74 risk through effective planning & escalation of on-site issues
  • Provide visibility of current workloads, planned activities and completions
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to the Safe Dig Process

Skills and Requirements:

  • Section Leader experience or previous team leadership role
  • Excellent knowledge of the task, backfill, reinstatement and clearance processes
  • Ability to develop new starters within the support function
  • Excellent communication skills – Ability to communicate with both Operational & Administration leads
  • Computer literate – Use of SAP, Confirm, Excel and Power BI
  • Effective time management in order to meet stringent timescales
