Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit Leakage and Validation Detection Engineers to work on our Thames Water contract in London.
As a Leakage and Validation Detection Engineers you will be part of our Leakage and Validation Team who are responsible for delivering Thames Water Leakage Targets and innovative solutions to ongoing problem areas.
As the Leakage and Validation Detection Engineers your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Proactive Leakage detection systems to assist clients reduce water leaks and losses on their network
- Reactive Leakage assistance
- Appropriate leakage detection methodology
- Good understanding of Network Operations and Validation activities
- Understanding of Leakage and UFW
- Interpretation and use of flow and pressure data to agree areas of interest for further leakage detection activity
Raising of works orders
- Working in urban/ suburban/ rural environment
- Working within Thames Water (clients) Leakage team/department
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- Experienced in Leakage Detection and or Network Validation
- Clear understanding and knowledge of Clean Water Networks (Thames Water Experience an advantage)
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- NRSWA trained (minimum, Streetworks unit 2/SLG)
- Self-starter, able to manage a variety of projects independently
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Can take ownership of problems to resolution
- An effective time manager in order to meet stringent timescales
- Computer literate
Additional Information
- Clean water experience, must have experience in a similar role.
- EUSR National Water Hygiene card
- Clean water sampling experience
- Calm Network certificate
- Night shift work required (Sunday night through to Thursday night)
