M Group Services is currently looking to recruit an Oracle Financials Cloud Systems Administrator to work in our Stevenage based headquarters.

This role will be responsible for providing support and maintenance of organisation wide Oracle Cloud Financials system, as part of the System Administration team. The remit will include the provision of administration, configuration and application support for the organisation’s key business applications as well as being responsible for user administration, issue and defect resolution, release management, and enhancements.

As an Oracle Financials Cloud Systems Administrator your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Cloud Financials, including AR, AP, GL, Procurement modules, application Support management. Ongoing third-line support of key applications, including defect resolution, user training and identification & implementation of process improvements
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Procure to Pay (P2P), Invoice to Cash (I2C) & Record to Report (R2R)
  • Inventory and Projects – nice to have
  • Security Administration of user base across the systems landscape
  • Software development: Configuration of applications in line with the agreed road map
  • Data Management: Defining, configuring and maintaining feeds
  • Reporting: Scheduling, running and maintaining reports, OTBI/BI Publisher. Maintaining and troubleshooting scheduled tasks
  • Testing: Planning of system upgrade deployments, managing of system upgrade deployments, testing of enhancements and new releases Support of user acceptance testing

Skills and Knowledge requirements

  • Experienced in the support of Oracle Cloud-based ERP products
  • Provision of application support in a medium to large environment
  • Testing Experience, including creation of test scripts, test status reporting and defect resolution
  • Working in an on premise and hybrid cloud environment integrating applications across the two
  • Production and maintenance of support documentation
  • Experience of working in, or alongside, an ITIL Service Desk
  • End user systems training
  • Experience with other cloud solutions, such as Microsoft Office 365
