About The Role

M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions is currently looking to recruit a Plant and Fleet Controller based in Stevenage.

As a Plant and Fleet Controller, you will be part of our Compliance and Service team who are responsible for transacting all service and compliance activity on your nominated contracts. You will be responsible for all service administration within your associated depot and region.

As the Plant and Fleet Controller your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Day-to-day support function across a designated Mobile Fitting team
  • Production and delivery of Mobile Fitters SMC service report and filter as agreed standard format, populating information to a PDA
  • Manage the sending and confirmation of company updates and SHEQ information via the PDA
  • Raising of all P/O requests via the Oracle system from Mobile Teams including parts/3rd party purchase
  • Ensure that “best cost solutions” are adopted for the provision of all maintenance events across 3rd Party service support
  • Contacting customers and 3rd party suppliers to arrange and book compliance and service events including MOT
  • Liaising with depots where required to support local contracts
  • Coordinate to ensure customers are fully communicated with actions and follow up to close issues out
  • Updating company IT systems with information as required, including Insphire, Job Watch and Jaama key 2
  • Processing day works from job watch to invoice to designated contracts in accordance with agreed SLA’s
  • Updating the SMC/Inspire operation system weekly and submitting, update contract change information into Inspire eg drivers name, change of vehicle location from information obtained, sharing such information across Plant and Fleet teams as required
  • Review daily/weekly reports for all plant and vehicles on your contracts using the weekly SMC report

 Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Inbound and outbound Contact Centre or Service Centre experience
  • Experience of Scheduling and managing service events
  • Experience of Purchase Order processing
  • Good administration skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good IT and system experience, understanding and use of scheduling and telephone systems
  • Ability to deal with complex customer requirements and dispute resolution
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to working
