Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Meter Fitter to work within our metering, private side leakage and customer related department based Bradford.

You will form a pivotal part of the metering team and will interact with staff, sub-contractors and Yorkshire Water. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional candidate who is seeking to develop their career in management.

As a Meter Fitter you will support the Area manager in maintaining performance to achieve our business objectives. Ensuring a ‘First Class Service’ delivery is maintained and ensuring that a quality service is always delivered. Assist in raising the profile of the business. Provision of day-to-day management of all work priorities and individual performance contribution.

As the Water Meter Fitter your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with MWS procedures and industry best practice.
  • Complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments.
  • Demonstrate an excellent level of customer engagement/service
  • Defect/damage reporting
  • Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle and tooling
  • Adhere to any relevant policies and procedures
  • Escalates issues

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Clean Water Experience
  • Driving License
  • Water hygiene card
  • Water SHEA or CSCS
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Manual Handling
  • IT Literate
  • LA1 Streetwork
Training can be provided to the right candidate
